Famous Photographer - Mark Plonsky

His day job is a professor. Mark Plonsky became interested in imaging in 1989 when he began using a computer/projector to present my lectures. He started scanning images and learned my way around the digital darkroom. Mark took an interest in photography in 2000.

He used the Canon Powershot G1 (3 megapixel) camera in 2001 & 2002 and the Canon Powershot G3 (4 megapixel) in 2003. Currently uses a dSLR - the Canon Digital Rebel (6 megapixel).

If there is any theme to his work, it's that he photographs living things. He especially enjoy macros because they show what we ordinarily don't see.

He has some of the nicest close up and macro shots available. He specializes in this we don't normally see with the human eye. Fascinating stuff. Here are a link to some of his librabries.
